I themed the title and cover around one of my all-time favorite movies, The Shawshank Redemption. My quest to blow up in the music world is much like Andy’s quest to escape prison. It just takes pressure and time. I’ve put in so many years to this music that I have a hard time recounting how many songs I’ve created. I guess I’ve always just hoped that applying pressure over time would lead me to success, instead of relying on connections and payoffs to make it happen.
